Team Conduct

  1. All members must be in good academic standing with the University.
  2. Each performing member will attend every team practice and performance event. Being a student is a priority, but you must also keep in mind the commitment you made to this team. Practices will take place on every Sunday 8pm to 9pm, and every Tuesday and Thursday 7pm to 9pm, please be aware of cancellations and time change.
  3. General members have the option of attending practices to stretch or practice with the performing members, but they must be in attendance for each performance event.
  4. Should you miss two consecutive practices unexcused, you will not be able to perform for that event; however you must attend the performance.
  5. If you are not able to attend a practice session or event, please let the Vice President be aware of your future absence 2 weeks before.
  6. All team members must attend all performances regardless of whether or not you are performing, unless you have a class during that time.
  7. When practice begins, you must be in proper attire on time and ready. Hair should be pulled back from the face with no dangling earrings, and necklaces. No gum, and bring a bottle of water with you to each practice.
  8. Tardiness is not acceptable, Please be ON TIME, if you are running late; please call the president/captain.
  9. No visitors are allowed during practice.
  10. Tasteful make-up is encouraged for all games, performances and events.
  11. Ponytail should be secure and no need to be re-adjusted during the practice, game, or event. Ponytail is required for all performances, unless stated otherwise.
  12. Please be polite with the usage of cell phones. Please.
  13. Eating is not permitted during practice unless approved. Please drink plenty of water before and during practice or performances.
  14. All members are expected to participate in all team fundraisers. Part of the money raised will go into our personal account, to help pay for things like uniforms. Part of the money will also go into our miscellaneous fund, to cover cost for team needs. All members are also expected to attend community service events, and other team appearances.
  15. Each semester members may be asked to contribute $10 in dues to the team each semester. This fee is necessary to offset the cost of costumes, and other team-related activities.

Team Disputes

Any problems or conflicts with another team member should be brought to the attention of the President or Captain.  In the event that two or more members have a dispute that interrupts the productivity and cohesiveness of the team, and the problem cannot be resolved, both team members will be suspended from performing. If the problem persists, both members will be asked to be a general member, if the member(s) deny the request, we assume they are automatically removed from the team. If the problem is between general members, and cannot be resolved, both members will be asked to leave the organization.
